Ping Pong in Middelburg

Middelburg splits its table tennis spots between its historic center and its newer southern neighborhoods, giving both sides of the city a free public option. Hof Van Sint Jan sits right in the Binnenstad, the old town core that gives Middelburg its character, while further south, Middelburg-zuid holds two of the five tables: one near Adriaen Van De Vennestraat and another by the Vuurtoren. Kruitmolenlaan serves the Dauwendaele district, and Kerklaan adds a fifth location, so between the historic center and its surrounding neighborhoods, most of Middelburg has a table within reasonable walking distance. All five are free and outdoor, the standard setup for Dutch neighborhood ping pong: no booking, no fee, just a public table waiting for whoever shows up. Like the rest of Zeeland, expect the heaviest use during the milder months, with the historic centers cobbled streets and canals making Hof Van Sint Jan a particularly scenic spot to play.
